Having trouble logging on?

We've changed the site a little so that now you have access from the forum page to "My Account", where you can modify your password.

There are problems with some browsers being able to login. Opera, Chrome, and I think Explore, have been having problems and we are seeking to sort this out. Thunderbird works well though.

I'm having problems getting access to the latest comments for instance the latest contribution on the debate on immigration is dated 8 september.  What could be wrong?

The only thing I can think of is that your browser has cached the page and is showing you an old version - try reloading the page. Otherwise can you say whether you are running Windows or something else and which browser you are using?

I've used pretty much all the browsers Ernie mentions (though I presume he means Firefox not Thunderbird) on Mac and Windows and have had no problems, so I don't think the browser as such is an issue. Maybe if you're running a bizarre build of Linux?

I'm not having trouble logging on but, as you can see from my latest post on drugs, copying and pasting from Office double-posts and carries all sorts of uneccessary information. Do you know what the problem is? Thanks.

In theory this should have been taken care of such that just using <ctrl-V> should strip out all the garbage when you paste. However we've just added in the "Paste from Word" button which might get the desired effect - try it out.
